Oof. BuzzFeed unearthed some hideously sexist dating advice books and asked a few people to give them a read. The results are exactly what you would expect when sane people read stupid advice.
"Any dude that is going to tell me what I really mean is already trouble," says one woman. This about to get good.
In one book, The Shy Guy's Guide to Dating, men are advised to be persistent and keep a picture of the girl he wants "in his wallet for inspiration."
"WHAAAAAT? That's so creepy," says a woman. "Never do that!"
"The last thing I would do is keep a picture of a girl I'm interested in my wallet," says one very smart dude.
But it was a section called "Hunting for Easy Prey" (ewww) that had participants throwing in the towel. When a chapter of the book describes a women who are overweight as "easy prey," that's when they lose it.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what?" says one horrified guy.
"Good-bye, I am moving to space," says another girl.
I agree. Hopefully we can all move to space and be safely free from all this garbage once and for all.
